Ranges are 1-based and written the way you would say them aloud - 2,4-6 - and the page refuses to delete every page, because an empty document is almost always a mistake rather than an intention. Encrypted files are refused outright with no password prompt and no bypass, since a tool that guessed at a password would be worse than one that stops. The output is a new file: the original you chose is never modified. It is the tool for stripping blank scans and cover sheets before a contract goes out, for removing a superseded appendix from a report, and for cutting a page that was included by mistake.
