Remove Line Breaks joins broken lines back into flowing text, either as paragraphs or as one continuous line, which is the repair most often needed after copying a column of prose out of a PDF or an email. Text that arrives as dozens of short lines is not a paragraph; it is a paragraph that has been sliced at every wrap point, and editing it by hand means joining each fragment one at a time. The page does that in a single pass while leaving inner spacing untouched: only whitespace at a line boundary is affected, so a deliberate gap inside a sentence survives. Paragraph mode treats any blank line as a separator, which means an intentional double break becomes a single one - a real trade-off, stated on the page rather than hidden. Line endings are normalised to LF and the original CRLF endings are not restored. Nothing is uploaded, and the result is yours to copy. A hyphen at the end of a line is left in place rather than guessed at, because a broken word and a genuine hyphen look identical in the pasted text, and the page would rather leave a visible artefact than silently invent a word.

How to use Remove Line Breaks

  1. Paste the broken text and pick join-everything or keep-paragraphs mode.
  2. Read how many lines were rejoined.
  3. Copy the flowing text or clear to start over.

What you get

  • The text joined into flowing paragraphs, or into one continuous line when you choose that mode.
  • Inner spacing preserved exactly: only line-boundary whitespace is touched.
  • LF line endings in the output, with the page stating that original CRLF endings are not restored.

When to use Remove Line Breaks

  • Fuse a PDF paragraph that pasted as dozens of short lines into flowing prose.
  • Turn a wrapped subtitle file into one continuous line per paragraph for editing.
  • Rejoin a column of text copied out of a PDF so it can be edited as prose instead of line fragments.

Frequently asked questions about Remove Line Breaks

Does Remove Line Breaks upload my text?

No. All rejoining runs locally in your browser; nothing is sent, stored, or logged.

Will it delete spaces inside my lines?

No. Only whitespace at line edges is trimmed before joining; spacing inside a line, including Arabic script shaping, stays exactly as pasted.

What happens to blank lines?

Join-everything mode drops them; keep-paragraphs mode uses them as paragraph separators, collapsing runs of blanks into one break.

Does it handle Windows CRLF pastes?

Yes. CRLF, CR, and LF endings are all recognized; the output always uses LF.
