QR Code Generator turns text or a link into a standard QR code and exports it as SVG or PNG without sending the payload anywhere. The encoder chooses the smallest version that fits at your chosen error-correction level, so a short URL stays sparse and easy to scan while a longer message grows into more modules. Error correction is exposed rather than fixed: higher levels survive smudges and low-quality printing but add modules, which can make a code harder to read on a small label. The quiet zone is adjustable because many printing failures are really missing margin, not a bad encoder. The preview and both exports come from the same module matrix, so what you see is what you download. Everything runs locally, and no text, URL, scan count or image is transmitted or stored.

Which error correction level should I use?

M is a sensible default. Use Q or H for printed labels that may be damaged or viewed at an angle, and L when the payload is long and the code must stay sparse.

Why does my code fail to scan?

The usual causes are a missing quiet zone, printing too small, low contrast, or a payload that is too dense. Increase the module size and margin, and test with a phone camera at the intended distance.

Does the generator add tracking or a redirect?

No. It encodes exactly the text you type. There is no shortener, no analytics, and no server involved.
